My First Website...

In 1996, the Internet was more a novelty than a way of life. A typical 20MB hosting plan cost $24.95 a month with a $100 set-up fee, and very few people had their own domain name.

So I taught myself how to use Netscape Composer, made some graphics using Aldus PhotoStyler 2.0, and set up my first free homepage right here at Tripod!

I had so much fun, I thought, "Why not do this for a living?" So in 1999 I started a website design business. Thousands of .jpgs and .html files later, it's fun to look back on where it all began.

Although my website had the usual photos of family, friends, and pets, I also made a little tribute page to John Lennon. Over the years the page has received quite a bit of positive feedback. Although I'm working on a new personal site in my spare time, I hope to always keep the original Lennon page as it has been.

Thanks for stopping by!
